Your Unique Story

Counselling is about support. It is also about getting something different from life in the hope of alleviating suffering. My philosophy of counselling is that it’s our (both client and counsellor) job to explore your landscape together from a place of shared curiosity

It’s important in the early stages of working with my clients to focus on relationship; a process which typically involves working with you in a very open way, getting to know you as the person you are and trying to understand your story in broad terms. It’s my job to create and maintain a safe space in which you can harness skills and insights into the self that can facilitate improvements in quality of life.
